Job Description
Service Desk Technician: Troubleshoot, install, and configure Windows-based hardware, software, and peripherals. System accounts can be managed. Troubleshoot issues with network connectivity. Provide IT Service Desk support to users in remote and on-premise locations. Help Desk Technicians will also be paid for training using the CBT System.
Skills
Experience with supporting networks, computers, and infrastructure technology is a must. You must be a customer-service-oriented individual and self-starter. This job requires multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must have good organizational skills. You must be able to lift 50 pounds. You must be available to provide support on-call one week per month, on weekends and nights.
Desired Skills for Help Desk Technician Job
At least 6 months of equivalent experience in supporting computer hardware or software applications. Knowledge of network infrastructure is an advantage.
Education Requirements for Help Desk Technician Job
High School Diploma, College Credits in IT and/or Computer Related Certifications Preferable
