Responsibilities for Packaging Crew Member Job
- Regularly attend scheduled shifts and be punctual and ready to perform all duties.
- Assist with the setup of the packaging process. This includes machinery, date code printers and computers, product labels, proper vat selections, additional ingredients, etc.
- Keep your eyes on these priorities throughout the entire packaging process. Safety and health of employees; Food safety; Product quality; Productivity.
- Promote and adhere to company policies and procedures including H&S, GMPs and SSOPs.
- You can efficiently package cheese in the desired packaging material. Identify and communicate any product conditions that are not in the specifications. Follow the established notification protocol.
Requirements for Packaging Crew Member Job
- Preferably, you have at least 1+ years of work experience in the food industry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable, honest, and respectful
- You must be able to work regular hours and overtime is acceptable. Production and staffing requirements determine the schedules and may change.
- Have the ability to multi-task and self-direct/self-motivate
