Parts Delivery Driver Job: Parts Clerical associates are responsible for picking up and delivering parts, and for carrying out the jobs and/or assignments assigned by the department manager. This person will manage internal procedures and reports.

Responsibilities for Parts Delivery Driver Job
- Before you leave to coordinate last-minute pick-ups and deliveries, make sure you check with the parts manager or wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, or parts counter people.
- Every day, check in with the body shop to determine urgent parts requirements.
- When necessary, delivers parts to the body shop and distributes them to the appropriate body technicians.
- Verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pickup.
- Payments in check must be received along with the invoices.
- As directed by the Department Manager, handles correspondence.
- Maintains a safe and organized work environment.
- Maintains a log of all daily pick-ups and deliveries. Each delivery entry requires the recipient’s signature.
- Each night unloads the truck. Transmits all paperwork and undeliverable parts.
- Basic maintenance of the truck, including checking fuel levels, and oil levels, cleaning it, and ensuring that any inspections are done.
- If delivery trucks require major repairs or maintenance, advise the parts manager.
- Maintains the professionalism of the parts department.
- Assists the service department when needed, taking care of customer drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Assists in stocking and posting orders as they arrive. This expedites delivery to shop technicians or wholesale accounts.
- Keep a professional appearance.
- Other duties as required.
- You must adhere to all safety procedures and policies of the company and report any accidents immediately to your manager or supervisor.
- Assists the service department when needed, taking care of customer drop-offs and pick-ups.

Qualifications for Parts Delivery Driver Job
- High School Diploma
- All applicants must have authorization to work in America.
- All applicants must be able to perform their duties and responsibilities safely.
- All applicants must demonstrate their ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks, MVR and drug tests, credit reports, and valid driver’s licenses.
