Data Entry Job: Our client is an industry-leading provider of academic journal information to academic researchers and scientists. Due to huge growth over the past few years, they are now searching for 5 new Journal Data Entry Specialists based in the UK or USA.
We are searching for intelligent, motivated, and detail-oriented applicants who are excited to learn and grow in the industry of academic publishing. This would suit someone that is starting out in their journal publishing career with 1-2 years of industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and compile information about academic journals
- Compile search engine and web research
- Correspondence with journal and/or publisher representatives
- Organise online databases and repositories
- Organise, assess and accurately record data in a content management system
- Strictly adhere to data entry requirements and program procedures
- Perform and participate in peer-verification checks for data quality
- Continually develop a personal understanding of the academic publishing community
Skills & Experience:
- Degree educated or higher is required.
- Experience in data entry or the academic publishing industry is preferred. Proficiency with the use of a computer and the internet.
- Strong understanding of how to use a search engine.
- Ability to self-monitor, be self-motivated, and work independently.
- Excellent reading, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Quickly learn new information and concepts.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and extrapolate to other situations.
- Accept and learn from constructive feedback from team members and supervisors.
