A registered professional nurse (RN), or a Staff Nurse is someone who works as a staff nurse. Who manages patient-centered, outcome-oriented care? The nurse can assess, plan, execute, and evaluate the care provided using patient-centered care principles and professional nursing standards. Staff nurses are responsible for providing all patient care, both those provided by them and those under their supervision.

Requirements Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Associate Degree Nurses must enroll in a BSN program within six to nine (9) months of being hired. They also need to make progress toward and complete their BSN degree within a period of 30 months. ADN nurses are eligible for 100% tuition reimbursement toward a BSN degree from an approved program.
• Current Illinois RN license
• BLS

Preferential Qualifications

• 1 year of ICU/ED Nursing Experience
• CCRN
