URGENT HYBRID ROLE STARTING IMMEDIATELY
Title: Interim Controller Pay: $50-60/hr. Hi! Due to recent resignations in the company’s group, a reputable distributor in Warminster is seeking an Interim Controller. This person would manage a team of six in the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements. This company has a great culture because the management is flexible and easy to work alongside.
This role is an interim one, but the company is restructuring, so it could become a full-time position. For a job description, please see the below: Job Description: The Interim Controller will manage a team consisting of six people throughout the company’s five-day close cycle. They will work with two direct reports and will be responsible to oversee the close, including reviewing and signing off journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, as well as preparing the financial statements. They will work within SAGE and follow a 4-4-5 closing schedule.
Duties:
- Reconciliations
- Journal Entries
- Accruals
- Qualifications for financial statement preparation/analysis
- Over 8 years of experience in general ledger functions.
- Five years experience in preparing financial statements
- 2+ years experience in the supervision of the close process
- Experience managing at least four people for 2+ years starting in 2019
- Work experience in a company that has a revenue of more than $100 million starting in 2018 or later
- Proficiency in large-scale ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Excel allows you to create Vlookups and pivot tables.
