The sales shifts run from 8:30am to 5pm, 10am-6.30pm and/or 1pm-6.30pm. Support shifts run from 10am to 5pm. Chukar Cherries, a Prosser-based dried fruit and nut business, is located in Prosser, WA. The Pike Place Market booth displays everything, from the healthy air-dried cherries to our delicious chocolate covered treats. Sales Position-Cherries & Chocolate

For a fast-paced, sales position at Chukar Cherries located in the Main Arcade at Pike Place Market, we are looking for positive, outgoing individuals who love chocolate and cherry.
A Pike Salesperson is responsible for cultivating long-lasting relationships between Chukars and customers. An excellent Salesperson will educate, entertain, and entice customers into buying. They also have to perform the technical tasks of closing the store and keeping the till accurate. Our Salespeople can work alone or in a group, and are taught to master sales techniques. They use these skills to increase sales, meet and exceed sales goals.

Requirements For Retail Sales Associate Job
- Communication skills are essential for working with customers individually and in groups.
- As an individual salesperson or as part of a group, you can work effectively
- Attention to detail, reliability and a keen awareness of self and others are key characteristics.
- Ability to work in any weather conditions, to lift 30 lbs and stand for a full 5- to 7 hour shift (remember that it will get hot in the Market in the summer and cold in winter).
Retail Sales Associate Job desirable traits include:
- Minimum of oof ne year experience in high traffic customer service or retail positions
- Experience with closing and opening a register, as well as maintaining a cash till.
- Knowledge of the Pike Place Market, and/or Seattle points-of-interest
- Enjoy cooking and baking, and you will be able to cook gourmet food.
- Have a sense of humor that is fun
- Vocal projection, volume, and enunciation are all important skills that can be taught, but they are essential for success.
