The Job That You Will Do

Respect all safety regulations and practices

learn about customer requirements, it is important to read factory orders, print cards, or other documentation.

Monitor and move stock throughout the production area.

Identify stock and products that match work orders.

Assisting in production by performing assigned tasks

Assist other employees when needed

Use tape measures and other measuring and testing equipment accurately;

Inspection, counting, stacking, and unitizing products in accordance with customer specifications.

Identification and segregation of non-conforming products and materials (reject);

To maintain high standards of housekeeping, it is important to keep your work areas clean.

Maintaining teamwork among machine crews, and other employees;

Assign all other duties to the supervisor.

Physical abilities include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push stacks of corrugated sheets and stand for eight hours.

The Decatur Container Facility is seeking motivated individuals to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, flexible environment. We are looking for people who can understand our business and maintain a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

The entry-level General Helper job starts at $18.72 an hour. After a probationary period of 90 days, the rate increases to $22.59 (plus shift differentials). For operating the Flexo, Die Cutter, or Corrugator, employees can move up to Operator positions that pay up to $25.83 an hour.

The pre-employment process includes all candidates successfully completing an operations test, drug screening, and background/employment verification prior to their start date. Candidates who are successful must be available to work the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. You must be able and willing to work overtime every day, as well as weekends as required by business conditions. Sometimes, overtime may be required.
